Our Maternity Home

Who We Are

Birthline of Loveland is a Christian nonprofit pregnancy resource center founded in 1979 as “Birthright” in Loveland, Colorado by Father Roger Mollison; Ed and Jane Ketterer; Dick and Louise Link; and Dan and Fran Marthe. The ministry began in a simple but powerful way— with a heart for women in crisis and opening their own homes to pregnant women who had nowhere else to go.

Today, Birthline of Loveland continues that same mission—meeting women and families where they are with compassion, dignity, and practical support. Our Resource Center provides essential baby and children’s items like diapers, clothing, formula, strollers, and car seats, while also offering advocacy, education, and encouragement to help parents grow in confidence and stability.

Out of this same heart, the Birthline Maternity Home was created to serve women facing pregnancy alongside homelessness, abuse, or abandonment. The home offers a Christ-centered refuge where women can find safety, healing, and the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Together, our Resource Center and Maternity Home create a circle of care—meeting immediate needs while empowering women toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency. At Birthline, every act of service is rooted in love, reminding the families we serve that hope lives here.

Our Beginning.

Life in the Home

Life in our maternity home is built around structure, community, and personal growth. Each woman who enters the program becomes a house-guest, and together we create a home environment that supports both mother and child.

Our maternity home is a residential program of up to 18 months, designed to help women move from crisis to stability and independence. House-guests participate in daily routines, shared responsibilities, and individualized goal planning that guide their progress throughout the program.

Growth within the home is guided by our Eight Pillars for Growth & Hope, which focus on developing stability in key areas of life such as personal responsibility, emotional health, healthy relationships, parenting, financial wisdom, vocational readiness, and spiritual growth.

House-guests also participate in structured education through BrightCourse, which provides parenting, life skills, and personal development training designed to equip mothers for long-term success.

Our home is built on a Christian foundation, shaping how we care for and support each woman with compassion, accountability, and hope. Within this environment, house-guests find not only safe housing, but also community, encouragement, and the tools needed to build a stable future for themselves and their children.

Our Vision

The VISION of a community where mothers and couples of unintended pregnancies are themselves loved, cared for, and supported, so that they will choose to bring their babies to term, and all might thrive in their new life together.

Our Mission

The MISSION of offering real support to expecting mothers and couples from the time of their baby’s conception and throughout the young parental years, so as to safeguard the lives of born and unborn children and to open doors to gospel conversations.
